Tooth Implants
The loss of a tooth due to trauma, decay or other causes (which can happen to people of all ages) reduces function and can affect appearance. When this occurs, some people have usually had to have a bridge put in and by doing so much of the healthy tooth structure on the adjoining teeth must be removed and crowns placed. CAT Scans for precise dental treatment
We are one of the few practices in the country to have integrated in-office CAT scans for dental procedures. This allows for more accurate dental implant placement and diagnosis of TMJ.

Myofacial Pain Dysfunction (commonly referred to as TMJ)
Dr. Thompson has received special instruction in MPD treatment and has developed techniques caring for patients suffering from this often debilitating dental condition. He utilizes advanced diagnostic equipment including:

• Unique, in-house CAT scan for more accurate joint evaluation
• EMG for measuring dysfunction of the jaw muscles
• Computerized jaw tracking to measure range of motion and pathology in the function of the jaw
• Low frequency tens unit to relax jaw muscles

Oral Conscious Sedation
