Fredrick Thompson, DMD - Cosmetic Dentist serving the Portland Area

Dr. Thompson completed his undergraduate work at the University of Utah. He served in the Navy Reserves as a medical corpsman and at the Oakland Navy Hospital emergency room during Desert Storm. At the hospital he was introduced to the amazing world of dentistry and decided that this was the profession in which he could excel. In 1994 he was accepted by the Oregon Health Science University School of Dentistry from which he graduated four years later with honors and having been selected as delegate of the year for 1997.

Dr. Thompson began his practice in Bainbridge Island that same year. In 2003 he took advantage of an opportunity to move his practice to Gresham, Oregon.

Dr. Thompson is a graduate of the Las Vegas Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry with hundreds of hours of continuing education dealing with this subject. This has helped him expand his skills beyond the typical family dentistry practice to include advanced dentistry including Cosmetic Dentistry, Temporal Mandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJ), Implants, one-visit Ceramic Crown placement and Sleep Medicine. He uses his knowledge of cosmetic dentistry and proper bite to ensure that his patients not only have a beautiful smile but that their teeth function properly.

Dr. Thompson lives with his wife and daughter in Portland, Oregon.
